Using the S.O.S Emergency Puncture repair kit there is no need to change the tyre at the side of the road. With many new cars and even LPG converted Vehicles not having Spare Wheels this Kit is an ideal replacment for manufactures Supplied Kits as it contains a much better quality Compressor and the SOS Sealant is water based with no shelf life (Most Kits supplied by the Vehicle manufacturers have a 2 year shelf life, costing you £'s to replace)

Part 1 -The Compressor

•  The 12 volt compressor and S.O.S tyre sealant are supplied in a high quality zip up canvas bag this is easily stored in the boot area or in the case of Smart cars behind the seat.

•  The compressor is fitted with 3.4 metres of power cable to enable all wheels to be reached, and in this extended kit a 2m extension lead which when added to the standard lead makes a total length of 5.5m ideal for reaching the back wheels of Motorhomes.

• The cable is fitted with a 12 volt plug suitable for all standard cigarette lighter sockets. (Also supplied in this extended kit is a 12v battery conection lead with crocodile clips)

• This powerful compressor is a high capacity unit which will inflate a 17 inch rim tyre to 34 psi (2.4bar) within 4 minutes. The Compressor inflates to 120 psi and has an auto shut off feature, just preset your required pressure and the compressor will switch off when it reaches it.
• It incorporates a Powerful Bright Light with a Safety Hazard Flashing Light and S.O.S Signal mode
  

The compressor can be used for routine maintenance of vehicle tyre air pressure, it is also ideal for use when camping to inflate airbeds, dinghies/inflatables (adaptors for the airline are provided) and can be used on bicycle tyres.  

   Correct pressure means tyres last longer and the vehicle will use less fuel

               Part 2- The Sealant

The 2nd part of the kit is the S.O.S Sealant, that can be used as an emergency Puncture repair, enabling punctures in the tread area of the tyre to be sealed.

The S.O.S Tyre Sealant has been chosen following in depth scrutiny and trials with many similar products on the market. A main feature of the product is that it is non hazardous and can be safely and easily removed from tyres without damaging the tyres in any way.

THE S.O .S TYRE SEALANT BOTTLE HAS A CLEVERLY DESIGNED CAP WHICH HOUSES AN INTEGRAL FILLER TUBE AND VALVE REMOVAL TOOL..

In the event of a puncture 

1. Try and locate the cause of the puncture
2. If possable roll the vehicle forward so the puncture is at the bottom of the wheel.
3. Remove the valve from the wheel
   
4. Add the S.O.S Sealant to the tyre and replace the valve
   
5. The tyre is then re-inflated using the compressor.
